Sound Adventure Charters 


Fall 2023 Update:

We are upgrading the motor on our boat and we're very excited! This means our boat is out of the water right now though and we won't be offering any charters until we start guiding back country skiing trips in March/April 2024. 

We are still taking reservations for next year, so if you have any questions contact us and we'd be happy to set somethiing up for next year!

Glacier Viewing 

The trip begins with a scenic boat ride from Whittier, where you will pass by glaciers and snow-capped peaks on your way to Blackstone Bay. Once you arrive, you will have the opportunity to witness the power of the glaciers up close as they calve and send massive chunks of ice crashing into the bay. Along the way, you will also have the chance to spot local wildlife such as sea otters and puffins. The trip includes all necessary gear, accommodations, and a knowledgeable guide to help you navigate the waters and provide information about the history and geology of the area. 

Price is 300$ per person with a minimum of 4 people.


Dive Trips

We work with the dive shops in Anchorage to provide transportation to dive sites. If you already have your gear and are certified, give us a call and we can take you out. If you need equipment, need training, or have any diver related questions contact one of the shops in Anchorage. 

Kayaking

Bring your kayak onboard and we'll give you a ride to the goods! We offer a taxi service for kayaks into any part of Prince William Sound. For rentals or questions about where to get kayaks shoot us an email and we can help you out!

Backcountry Skiing 

A backcountry ski trip in Prince William Sound, Alaska is an adventure that combines skiing with a scenic boat ride and an overnight stay on the boat. The trip begins with a boat ride from Whittier, where you will pass through the Sound's pristine waters surrounded by towering mountains and glaciers. Once you reach the drop-off point, you will embark on a backcountry skiing excursion through the remote and untouched wilderness of the Chugach National Forest. The trip will take you through snow-covered alpine meadows, dense forests, and past glaciers. Along the way, you will have the chance to spot local wildlife such as sea otters and puffins. You will be able to enjoy the wilderness, skiing on untouched snow and take in the stunning vistas of the sound. After a full day of skiing, you will return to the boat where you will be able to relax and enjoy the evening, you will sleep on the boat and wake up to the sound of nature and the beautiful view of the sound. The combination of skiing in a remote and rugged wilderness, surrounded by the beauty of the sound, and the overnight stay on the boat will make it an unforgettable experience.
